BarbaraK

Barbara Kvelstein | OWNEr

Barbara Kvelstein is the founder of Nordic Clinic and creator of Norderm, a Scandinavian-inspired skincare brand launching at the clinic. After traveling to more than 90 countries as a professional tennis player and model, she developed a deep interest in skincare, aesthetics, and the connection between confidence and wellbeing.

Originally from Northern Europe, she created Nordic Clinic to bring an authentic Scandinavian approach to care to Seattle — rooted in natural beauty, quality, and long-term results.

Together with her husband, former professional tennis player Hans Podlipnik, she also co-founded Earthlight Villas, a luxury hospitality and wellness concept in the Pacific Northwest.

Before launching these ventures, Barbara spent over a decade working in the human rights field as a human rights lawyer and NICCS-certified anti-trafficking investigator. Part of Nordic Clinic’s mission is to support efforts to combat child sex trafficking, continuing Barbara’s long-standing work in the human rights field.

Lana

Svetlana B. Nadirov | arnp medical director

Lana is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in advanced facial aesthetics and natural, refined results. With over a decade of experience, her approach is precise, conservative, and focused on enhancing—not altering—each patient’s features.

As Medical Director, she brings a strong foundation in anatomy, safety, and advanced techniques—ensuring every treatment is guided by expertise, intention, and long-term results.

Raina

Raina Tolbert |rn lead injector

Raina is our Lead Aesthetic Nurse Injector, bringing years of experience in both emergency medicine and advanced aesthetics. She is known for her expertise in Sculptra, collagen biostimulation, and our signature Swedish lips—an advanced technique designed to create soft, structured, and natural-looking volume.

Known for her warm, personable approach, her work focuses on restoring facial harmony and delivering results that are subtle, balanced, and long-lasting. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, dog, and loved ones.

Amelia

Amelia | Master AESTHETICIAN

Amelia Hamlin is a Master Esthetician specializing in advanced European aesthetic treatments, with over six years of clinical experience and training from the Euro Institute of Skin Care and Washington Laser Institute. She takes a thoughtful, whole-body approach—layering treatments and designing personalized plans to achieve long-term skin health. Amelia is deeply passionate about European methods and continuously pursues advanced education to stay at the forefront of aesthetics. Outside of the treatment room, Amelia enjoys spending time with her dog, Pinto Bean.

Elera

elena Fedorova | Master Aesthetician

Elena is a Master Esthetician who graduated from the Aesthetic Northwest Institute and has over six years of experience in the aesthetics field. She has a thoughtful approach to skin health, focusing on understanding the root of each client’s concerns. Whether it’s acne, signs of aging, or overall skin balance while creating personalized long-term treatment plan that aligns with their individual goals.
Elena values a refined, results-focused approach to skincare and enjoys guiding clients through a process that prioritizes skin integrity and long-term improvement. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, or walking, and enjoys traveling to explore new places and cultures around the world.

Iulia

Iulia Tarasova | Master AESTHETICIAN

Iulia graduated from the Euro Institute of Skin Care and has four years of experience in aesthetics. She is also an international medical graduate and a licensed phlebotomist, bringing a strong clinical foundation to her approach to skin health.
Iulia has a particular interest in treatments that combine advanced techniques with scientifically supported skincare. She especially enjoys microneedling and working with high-quality, evidence-based ingredients such as exosomes and growth factors to support skin regeneration and overall skin quality. Outside of the clinic, Iulia enjoys solving puzzles, staying active through workouts, and playing tennis.

Yana

Yana Stepanchenko | Master AESTHETICIAN

Yana is a Master Esthetician who graduated from Evergreen Beauty College and has spent the past eight years refining her skills in advanced aesthetic treatments. Known for her attention to detail and European-inspired techniques, Yana believes that small, thoughtful enhancements can create powerful shifts in how someone feels about themselves — often in ways they don’t expect.
She loves working in a space where results meet artistry, helping clients achieve natural, confident results while maintaining a relaxing and personalized experience. Outside of the clinic, Yana enjoys spending time with her dog Marshall and embracing self-care rituals that keep her feeling balanced and inspired.

Alondra

Alondra Sandoval |Sales & Client Experience

Alondra Sandoval brings over five years of experience in client relations and aesthetic sales, where she has developed a thoughtful and personalized approach to guiding clients through their skincare journey. With a deep knowledge of Nordic Clinic’s treatments and professional skincare, she takes pride in helping clients feel informed, comfortable, and confident as they explore the services and products best suited to their individual needs.
Outside of the clinic, Alondra enjoys staying active through fitness, spending time with friends and family, and attending music festivals.

Amanda

amanda ryan |patient care coordinator

Amanda has over 15 years of experience as a patient care coordinator in the cosmetic industry. She began her medical career at the University of Washington Medical Center and spent several years in medical dermatology as a Certified Medical Assistant. With licensure in both medical assisting and phlebotomy, Amanda supports a range of clinical services while delivering a seamless, elevated patient experience. Known for her warm, attentive approach, she ensures every client feels welcomed, cared for, and confident in their aesthetic journey.
